We are particularly interested in children’s books about with the following subjects:

Latina, Native-American, Asian families
Surviving disasters
Military life
Coping with the loss of a loved one, a home or a pet

What is a query letter? How important is it?
A query letter asks permission to send the project described in the letter. The query letter is sent without the accompanying manuscript. So, a query letter must sell the editor on looking at your completed manuscript.

NOTE: A one-page or one-chapter excerpt of your work is acceptable, however, please DO NOT submit your entire manuscript.
- Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for your reply
- Please DO NOT fax or email your submission – it will not be considered
- Simultaneous submissions are permitted, however, we ask that you inform us that you are submitting your manuscript to other publishers.
